Changing the World, One Cell Phone at a Time

An interesting story that plays into how telecommunications are changing the world making it more difficult for governments to stifle liberties starting with the freedom to buy cheap cell phones (Club for Growth):

Denis O'Brien, a self-made billionaire who owns Digicel Group, is arming the masses in dangerous countries like Haiti, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. But he's not giving them guns and artillery. Instead, he's selling them cell phones.
