The easiest places to start a business: Canada is #2

The easiest places in which to start a business, according to a new World Bank report (WSJ):

• 1. New Zealand
• 2. Canada
• 3. Singapore
• 4. Australia
• 5. Hong Kong

The U.S. is ranked 20th. For countries looking to boost their economic activity, it would seem to me that looking to see how easy it is to start a business would be a particularly good place to start.
