Stewart Brand: urbanization, development and environmental 'heresies'

From "the man who helped usher in the environmental movement in the 1960s and '70s has been rethinking his positions on cities, nuclear power, genetic modification and geo-engineering."

While he's clearly gotten a lot more optimistic in many ways, his views on resources in the long run (and his view that we'll have resource wars) are, um, limiting and are still wrong because they discount energy substitutes like natural gas, and advancements in technology.
