How to Spend 10 Billion Dollars...

One of the major reasons economics as a study should trump other social sciences when it comes to considering policy alternatives: it acknowledges that resources are limited in the short run. Compare this to blubbering about some pet project in which an infinite amount of resources should be spent on limited if not dubious benefits.
