Cool New Web Tools

If you check out my links there are a plethora of companies and utilities out there that I've tagged as potentially useful and often times potentially transformative to the way you/I do business. I like TechCrunch as it's a great way to follow new web-based businesses (or businesses that enable the web). There are two new web tools I'd highlight:

  • Google's stockscreener is far overdue but it's pretty easy to use. (H/T: Paul Kedrosky), and
  • PriorSmart - a pretty clean new interface to do patent search by country and a number of other criteria (H/T: TechCrunch & Hacker News). Given the business I'm in, I find trolling expired patents useful for fun and profit so this should prove quite useful.
