China: Not Ready to Lead

China's about to acquire its way into more power at the IMF. Here's the basic objection (DailyException):

China is using its influence at multilateral institutions as a means of furthering its strategic and military goals.

It'd be a bit naive to believe any country doesn't use its influence at multilateral institutions to further strategic/military objectives but China's strategic and military goals (or that of any despotic/autocratic power) should be of concern to us all.
